OLFACTIVE JOURNALS
Over a set period of time, contributing artists capture their quotidian rituals and studio practice via smell. Each entry is an olfactive portrait of that day, a scent document of the works in progress, bubbling thoughts, and immediate surroundings. In this way, Olfactive Journals become memory maps that allow artist and audience to return, by way of nose, to a specific moment and place in the artist's creative journey.
THE JOURNAL
Created between June 4th-12th, 2020, this olfactive portrait captures the artists' exploration of embodiment and nature through their distinctive photographic practice.
