Hope

By Alice Quaresma

MAY 1 — 15

» Hope is my first perception of the day ahead. I will be doing my diary in the morning, when I am most active and energized. I will be creating my diary with old artworks that bring relevance to a moment in the present and I will be also creating new works. Together this group of works will form my diary. Every morning for me is a new beginning. During the days of quarantine, I think each morning for me, became even more relevant, as it helps me ground myself in the present time to give me strength to deal with the unknown future ahead. I will create work that reflects on the present moment opening our imagination to a world that we want to live in. «

About Project

"Olfactive Journals" are a collection of visual diaries by artist translated into the form of fragrance. These perfumes are created exclusively for our contributing artists and preserved in the Folie À Plusieurs Olfactive Library; where their works, thoughts and emotions can be recorded, and later experienced olfactively.
